The Spear Chunker

I just finished a family phase and painted one of me with my 2 sons,--- called "me and my boys", one of my son Will's family, which I'm thinking about naming, "she's outnumbered"

and one of my son Roy who is the spear chnker in our family

I am so excited that Nancy Standlee, one of my real art heroes, is going to give 2 bakc to back classes here on the art of the journal. You have GOT to look at her blog page

We had orginally planned on giving one class, with a limit of 8 students on July 23 - 25. But after sending out the information, it lookslike that will fill so fast that I've talked Nancy into giving another class July 19 - 21.

The cost for either of these classes is very affordable at $225.00 plus the cost of lodging.

This 36 x 36 is my most recent painting

and I love it! A friend of mine, Connie Michaels, gave me the idea when she mentioned that a friend of hers had a daughter getting married in pink cowboy boots!!!!! I thought, "if I ever get married again, I'm wearing pink cowboy boots!" And thus the painting began
