demo painting

This is a painting I started in the class i taught 2 weeks ago. The students were very patient and we had so much fun. Well, who wouldn't? we were just playing!

This is a pretty big painting for a quick demo--- 40 x 30. But I had done the abstracted background ahead of time , and just showed how I would go about putting figures in.

AFTER HOURS

This is a 36 x 36 painting I completed recently. I'm such a stay at home with my dogs kind of person, but i paint a lot of scenes like this. Maybe I live vicariously through my paintings!!!!

THE DIVA

I named this 36 x 24 painting, "THE DIVA." I thought she looks like someone who thought of herself in those terms. I think we should all strive to be at least part diva in our own little world.

You know, that person that actually feels like she deserves some attention!

GRAND ENTRY

•  I had to photo this image a second time and put a piece of cardboard behind it.   Can't get the blog thing to accept a long skinny photo.  Or at least, not this long and skinny.  This is a 24 x 10.  I love that format.  I just don't love having to deal with trying to put it on  the blog.  
• So put something over the tan vertical stripe to the left and what's on the right, is my newest painting
• It's called Grand Entry.  There is a figure in it whether you can see it or not.

GENERATIONS

This is a painting I recently completed.  It's called GENERATIONS and is a 40 x 30.
I've been really busy learning my new mac, and getting the printer hooked up.  It seems like i've let too many things eat into my painting time.  and yet, I've painted quite a bit.  Maybe I just need to photograph more!  That's probably it.
My web page is currently down for classes, but my brother maintains the site and tells me it will be up and running
